Compared to the subsequent S variant, priced at Rs. 10.51 lakh for the same petrol manual version, Toyota has omitted several features, especially considering the Rs. 95,500 price gap. These missing features comprise turn indicators on the ORVMs, body-colored handles and ORVMs, a sliding armrest at the front with storage, AC vents in the second-row centre console, remote keyless entry, illuminated type-C charging ports for the second row, an adjustable IRVM for day and night, an audio display with touch controls, four speakers and two tweeters, steering-mounted controls, USB and Aux input, and a security alarm.

Toyota Rumion: Powertrain

The new E trim comes with a 103 hp 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine, paired exclusively with a 5-speed manual transmission option. This unit is shared with the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga in the Indian market. This trim is the only one that does not offer an automatic transmission or a CNG variant. With all these factors considered, the MPV competes with models such as the Kia Carens and its Maruti Suzuki badged sibling, the Ertiga.
