At the Tokyo Auto Salon 2026, Nissan is set to showcase three major highlights. Leading the charge will be a brand-new Nismo concept model, underscoring the brand's performance ambitions. Joining it is an updated Fairlady Z, which will also see enhancements to its Nismo variant. Adding a rugged twist to the lineup, Nissan will present the X-Trail Rock Creek concept, designed with an adventure-focused flavour that blends capability with style. Among the three unveilings, Nissan has recently teased the new Nismo Concept ahead of the official reveal. One of the biggest highlights will be Nissan's new Nismo concept vehicle. Nissan has stirred excitement ahead of the Tokyo Auto Salon 2026 by teasing its all-new Nismo Concept, one of the three headline unveilings planned for the event. The company has so far released only a single teaser image, keeping most details tightly under wraps. The image reveals just a glimpse of the car's rear, hinting at what could be one of Nissan's most performance-focused designs in recent years.

Key visible elements include sleek horizontal taillights, a pronounced rear lip spoiler, vertical air vents near the fenders, and a sharply raked rear windscreen. Together, these cues strongly suggest a sporty, aerodynamic build. However, Nissan has yet to confirm whether the concept will feature petrol, hybrid, or fully electric power.

Another key highlight of Nissan's Tokyo Auto Salon 2026 showcase will be the updated Fairlady Z, set to launch in Japan by summer 2026. The refreshed model incorporates design revisions aimed at improving aerodynamics, allowing the car to deliver greater efficiency and stability at higher speeds. These enhancements underline Nissan's focus on blending performance with refinement in its iconic sports car.
