
The ever-expanding SUV market in India is set to welcome some new entrants along with updated versions of some current models. Many of these upcoming models from brands like Mahindra, Kia, Renault, and others have the potential to attract large consumers. While many details of these SUVs are not known, a little bit of information about these models is already out there. Here we have compiled a list of some of the most anticipated models that are set to be launched in the Indian market.

Mahindra XUV700 Facelift
Mahindra XUV700 has been one of the successful models of the brand and has contributed to its growth over the long term. While the brand is trying its best to keep the details of the facelift version a secret, some spy shots of test mules have revealed a bit of its details. To begin with, the SUV is expected to get some revisions in its design. Additionally, there will be changes in the interior in the form of a new infotainment screen and features. Meanwhile, the powertrain is expected to remain the same.

New Kia Seltos
To increase its sales, Kia India is working on an upgraded version of the Seltos. The SUV has been spied testing overseas and in India. While there will be changes in its appearance, cabin, and features. All of these will likely be overshadowed by the changes to its powertrain. Specifically, the SUV is likely to get a hybrid powertrain option. Presently, the SUV has the options of petrol, turbo petrol, and diesel engines.

Renault Duster
Renault has recently been lagging behind its competitors in the country. However, the brand is consistently making efforts to hold its ground and push ahead by updating its model lineup. The French automaker recently launched the Triber facelift and is expected to bring back the latest iteration of the Duster in the country. This new version will be based on the CMF-B+ architecture. It is already available in one or the other form in the international market. Initially, it will be available with a petrol powertrain but is expected to be hybridized later.
Nissan's Mid-Size SUV
Along with Renault, Nissan is also planning on introducing a new SUV based on the CMF-B+ platform. The details of the model are not available yet. However, an earlier teaser by the brand hints at a modern design language with some major revisions representing the brand's renewed approach. The upcoming SUV will likely be a successor to the Terrano, which was part of the automaker's lineup in the past.

Tata Sierra
Tata revealed the plans of bringing back the Sierra nameplate long ago. The concept model of the SUV has been showcased by the automaker on multiple occasions. However, the details have been kept under a veil, but we can expect the SUV to be a summation of the brand's technological advancements showcased in the most recent models.
