KTM is gearing up to bring the RC 160 to India. The full-faired version of the KTM 160 Duke has been snapped testing in the country, hinting at its launch to be slotted closer, probably by early 2026. The RC 160 was spotted testing undisguised, giving us a clear idea of what it looks like. Upon arrival, the KTM RC 160 will be the new entry-level supersport bike by the brand, switching position with the RC 200.
The spy shots indicate that the KTM RC 160 shares the overall design with the other supersport 'RC' series. Based on the Duke 160, the RC 160 will carry over the same frame from the Duke sibling. Like its bigger RC cousins, the RC 160 is equipped with Clip-on handlebars, fairing-mounted ORVMs, and a sculpted fuel tank.

The KTM RC 160 is expected to offer a sporty, committed riding posture with low handlebars and rear-set footpegs. Key hardware includes USD front forks, rear mono-shock, 17-inch alloys, wide tyres, dual disc brakes with dual-channel ABS, split seats, and split grab rails.
It is expected to feature a 5-inch digital LCD console with Bluetooth and navigation, and may also get a bi-directional quick-shifter like the Yamaha R15, positioning tough rivalry between the two.

Powering the upcoming KTM RC 160 will be the same 164cc single-cylinder, DOHC liquid-cooled engine as used by the 160 Duke. The power mill is capable of churning out a peak power and torque output of 18.74 hp at 9500 rpm and 15.5 Nm at 7500 rpm.
