In September, the Indian government rolled out GST 2.0, placing motorcycles above 350cc under a 40 percent tax bracket. At the time, KTM and Bajaj pledged to absorb the impact and continue selling at existing prices. However, KTM has now revised its strategy, announcing a price increase for the 390 range. Both the 390 Adventure and 390 Adventure X have become costlier, with hikes reaching up to Rs 27,000.

KTM 390 Adventure
KTM has announced a notable price revision for its popular 390 Adventure range in India. The standard KTM 390 Adventure has become costlier by up to Rs 27,000, while the more affordable KTM 390 Adventure X has seen a hike of up to Rs 22,410. These increases mark a significant adjustment in the adventure-touring segment, reflecting the brand's response to rising costs and market dynamics. Interestingly, KTM has kept the pricing of its other 390 models, the 390 Duke, RC 390, and the recently introduced 390 Enduro, unchanged for now, ensuring that enthusiasts of street and track-focused machines continue to enjoy stable price tags.

The KTM 390 Adventure and Adventure X get a 399 cc, LC4c single-cylinder engine, which is calibrated to deliver 48 hp at 8,500 rpm and 39 Nm of maximum torque at 6,500 rpm.
