Honda Shine 125 X, Dio 125 X Edition Launched In India; Check Prices

Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) has launched the Dio 125 X Edition and the Shine 125 Limited Edition, two special-edition two-wheelers in the 125 cc segment. Priced at Rs 87,733 and Rs 86,211 respectively (ex-showroom, Delhi), these models add refreshed styling to the nameplates. Bookings are open online via Honda's website or at dealerships, with deliveries starting from the second week of February 2026.

Honda Dio 125 X Edition

The Honda Dio 125 X Edition features dual-tone body panels in grey and dark blue. To enhance its visual appeal, the model is equipped with updated graphics and the distinctive X Edition decals, differentiating it from the standard versions. Additionally, the scooter sports bright orange alloy wheels that complement its overall design. Aside from these exterior updates, the scooter shares the same specifications, features, and powertrain as the H-Smart variant.

Regarding dimensions, the scooter measures 1,830 mm in length, 707 mm in width, and 1,172 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 1,260 mm. It has a ground clearance of 171 mm, and the seat length is recorded at 708 mm. The kerb weight of the X Edition is 105 kg, while the fuel tank capacity remains at 5.3 litres.

The Dio 125 X Edition is equipped with a 123.92 cc, single-cylinder, four-stroke engine. It produces 8.1 hp at 6,500 rpm and offers 10.5 Nm of torque at 5,000 rpm. There are no changes to engine tuning, transmission, or fuel efficiency ratings.

Honda Shine 125 Limited Edition

The standout feature of the Shine 125 Limited Edition is its updated styling. It comes in a new Pearl Siren Blue colour, paired with dark blue body panels and unique Shine graphics displayed on the fuel tank. The refreshed design includes elements like the front visor, side cover, and rear cowl. Enhancing its premium appearance are brown-finished alloy wheels, distinguishing it from the standard Shine 125 Disc variant it is based on.

From a mechanical perspective, the Limited Edition Honda Shine retains the same configuration as the Shine 125 Disc. It is powered by a 123.94cc, BS6-compliant, air-cooled single-cylinder engine that delivers 10.6 hp at 7,500 rpm and 11 Nm of maximum torque at 6,000 rpm. The engine is coupled with a five-speed gearbox, ensuring smooth operation and excellent fuel efficiency.
