Hero MotoCorp has broadened its 160R 4V range with the introduction of the Xtreme 160R Combat Edition in India. While the core design and mechanical setup remain identical to the standard model, this new variant stands out with a distinctive color scheme and several added features. Together, these updates enhance its appeal and position the Combat Edition as an exciting option for buyers in the roadster segment.
The striking highlight in the Xtreme 160R 4V Combat Edition is the new headlight design. While it cannot be stated as a completely new design, as it resembles the headlight unit as seen on the Xtreme 250R. Similar to the Xoom 110 and Karizma XMR Combat Editions, the Xtreme 160R Combat Edition sports a distinctive grey-and-yellow paint scheme. Beyond the visual upgrade, it introduces ride-by-wire technology, enabling cruise control along with selectable riding modes, Rain, Road, and Sport. These functions are managed through a new colour-LCD instrument cluster, the same advanced unit featured on the Xtreme 250R, further enhancing the roadster's appeal with modern tech and versatility.
