India's young batting star Vaibhav Sooryavanshi has quickly risen to fame with his explosive strokeplay and wide range of shots. Though he is yet to make his senior debut for the national team, his performances have already made him a household name. His fearless batting in the Indian Premier League 2025 drew attention, and he followed it up with a record-breaking knock at the Under-19 World Cup earlier this month.
Recognising his outstanding IPL season, Tata Motors, an associate partner of IPL 2025, honoured Sooryavanshi with the Tata Curvv - India's first SUV coupe. He was named the Curvv Super Striker of the Season for recording the highest strike rate in the tournament. The presentation took place at Ananya Auto in Patna, where Sooryavanshi, accompanied by his family, also inaugurated the dealership's new facility before receiving the vehicle.

In the final against England at Harare on February 6, Sooryavanshi smashed 175 runs off just 80 deliveries, peppering the ground with 15 fours and 15 sixes. It was the highest individual score ever recorded in a single U19 World Cup innings. Across the tournament, he finished as the second-highest run-getter, amassing 439 runs in seven matches at an average of 62.71 and a strike rate of 169.49. His tally included one century, three half-centuries, and that unforgettable 175.

Talking about the car, the Tata Curvv itself has recently been updated with several new features. Rear passengers now benefit from ventilated seats, sunshades, and an armrest with cup holders. The dashboard sports a White Carbon Fibre finish paired with a lighter Lalitpur Grey interior trim, giving the cabin a premium feel.

Technology highlights include a voice-activated panoramic sunroof, a gesture-controlled powered tailgate, and 500 litres of boot space. Entertainment is handled by a 12.3-inch Harman touchscreen infotainment system, paired with a nine-speaker JBL audio setup.

All engines are offered with six-speed manual and dual-clutch automatic transmissions.
