The Jetour T2 SUV, developed under Chery Automobile, has achieved a 5-star safety rating in ASEAN NCAP crash tests. This model is widely expected to serve as the foundation for JSW Motors' debut product in India. A design patent has already been filed, and JSW has teased a silhouette resembling the T2's styling. While the India-spec version will carry JSW branding and a new nameplate, the SUV is anticipated to arrive around Diwali 2026 as the first launch from the JSW-Chery partnership, independent of MG Motor India.
