Bajaj Auto has reintroduced one of the most recognisable names in its performance commuter lineup with the launch of the Pulsar 180 in India at Rs 1.22 lakh (ex-showroom). While the motorcycle is not entirely new to the market, its return is significant, considering the model was discontinued in 2022. With its arrival, the Bajaj Pulsar 180 rivals the likes of the TVS Apache RTR 180. The Bajaj Pulsar 180 uses a 178.6cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine producing 17 hp at 8,500 rpm and 15 Nm at 6,500 rpm. The TVS Apache RTR 180, meanwhile, gets a 177.4cc oil-cooled single-cylinder motor making 17 hp at 9,000 rpm and 15.5 Nm at 7,000 rpm. Both are paired with a 5-speed gearbox.
