Apollo Tyres launched its latest ultra-high performance (UHP) tyre, the Apollo Aspire 5 in India. Developed and manufactured in India, the new tyre is positioned to meet the growing demand for high-performance yet refined tyres in the luxury vehicle segment. With Aspire 5, Apollo Tyres is aiming to tap into the evolving preferences of premium car buyers, particularly in India's expanding UHP tyre market. Designed for vehicles with 17-inch and above rim sizes and W/Y speed ratings, this segment is seeing a notable shift as consumers prioritise not just performance, but also comfort, refinement and electric vehicle compatibility.

The Aspire 5 will be available in sizes ranging from 17 to 20 inches, catering to a wide range of luxury sedans, EVs, and SUVs. Apollo says that the tyre has undergone extensive real-world testing in India, Europe, Japan, and South Korea, with a strong focus on Indian road conditions.

The Aspire 5 is manufactured at Apollo's facility in Andhra Pradesh and features a host of new technologies. These include dynamic contour technology to enhance ride and acoustic comfort, and a Tri-Flex compound designed for optimal grip and stability at high speeds. Apollo claims that Aspire 5 delivers a combination of precise handling, low noise, and a plush ride.

While Aspire 5 has been developed with Indian conditions in mind, it's also part of a broader global strategy. Apollo Tyres plans to launch the product in European and other Asian markets later this year, signalling its intent to grow its presence in international UHP segments. Back home, the Aspire 5 will be available across Apollo's extensive network of retail outlets starting July 2025.
