Kambli to 'debut' in Maharashtra polls

Mumbai: Former India cricketer Vinod Kambli has announced that he is entering politics.

Kambli will contest from Mumbai's Vikhroli constituency on a Lokbharti Party ticket, which is part of a coalition of 16 parties.

The coalition has decided to fight the Maharashtra elections together and plan to contest all 288 seats in the state.

Kambli announced his decision at a Third Front rally that was also attended by actor Sanjay Dutt.
