"I have no thoughts on Mr Trump's tweets," President Obama said.
Washington:
US President Barack Obama on Friday said he does not pay attention to the tweets of Donald Trump, the presumptive Republican presidential nominee, which of late has been creating a lot of controversies in the social media.
"I have no thoughts on Mr Trump's tweets," President Obama said.
"As a general rule, I don't pay attention to Mr Trump's tweets. I think that will be true for, I think, for the next six months. So, if you could just file that one," President Obama told reporters when asked about Trump's latest taco bowl tweet.
A day before, Mr Trump tweeted picture of him showing eating taco bowl.
"I love Hispanics!" Mr Trump said. "I had 59,000 retweets in a short period of what, that's like, almost got to be some kind of a record," Mr Trump told Fox News.
"People loved it. And you know what? I'm going to do great with the Hispanics. I mean, I'm going to do fantastic, because I'm bringing jobs back to America," he said.
Mr Trump has nearly eight million followers on Twitter.
