Startling footage shows a plane flying past what appear to be three tornadoes hovering over the Black Sea, before landing in Sochi, Russia. Many have taken to social media to share extraordinary videos and pictures of the "Armageddon-like" weather conditions.
According to local media reports, the plane was spotted on Tuesday, when at least 12 twisters sprung up above the Black Sea area.
A number of flights were reportedly diverted as the swirling columns of air formed alarmingly close to each other.
The plane that was spotted was reported to have had a safe landing, though the passengers likely experienced some severe turbulence.
