Stars vote, but where is the aam aadmi?
Mumbai:

From the Bachchans to Shahrukh and Amir who flew back to India just to vote, Bollywood stepped out to vote.

One got a lucky break from his team's disastrous performance in South Africa, the other interrupted a holiday in Disneyland with his kids.

"Too much is being made of my coming here. So what if I travelled for 48 hours?" said Amir Khan.

"I am disappointed that a lot many people have not come out to vote. I think more people should have come out," observed Shah Rukh Khan.

"It's supposed to be secret ballot but I must say Manmohan Singh makes a fine PM," said actor John Abraham.

Meanwhile, Sanjay Dutt may have vocally opposed his sister's party on the campaign trail, but finally family ties prevailed.

Outside, the polling booth politics took a back seat. So far, bade bhai Amar Singh has not reacted on this cross party voting.

"I voted for my sister," said Sanjay Dutt. His wife Manyata Dutt too put forth, "I voted for my sister-in-law."

Also out in large numbers, were captains of India Inc. Some who campaigned for candidates, and others who campaigned to get out the vote.

Ironically absent was Ratan Tata, who's Taj property was one of the symbols of this election -defined by 26/11.
