Ruchika case: Hooda assures impartial probe
Hisar: Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda has said that an impartial probe into all aspects relating to the infamous Ruchika molestation case.

Interacting with mediapersons in Hisar, Hooda assured them an impartial probe into all aspects of the case - Ruchika's molestation, her suicide and harassment of her family.

He also said that full protection would be provided to the family of the girl.

The Chief Minister was talking to reporters shortly after synchronising the first 600 MW unit of the prestigious Rajiv Gandhi Thermal Power Project.

Hooda had earlier said the Ruchika case would be revisited and appropriate action taken in the matter.

Rathore, a 1965-batch IPS officer who retired in 2002, was awarded six-month jail term by a CBI court last week for molesting Ruchika, a budding tennis player, 19 years ago when he was the Inspector General of Police.
