Rosaiah loses cool with Jagan supporters

Puttaparthi: Several top politicians - some of them in crisis mode -  were to be found at the Sai Baba ashram in Andhra Pradesh today.

Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yeddyurappaa, believed to be hours away from being fired, was among those present at Puttaparthi, where the 85th birthday of Sai baba was being celebrated. He  got a ride from there to Delhi with the Prime Minister.

Upon landing in the capital, Yeddyurappa will met with the BJP's senior-most leaders. The party who has reportedly decided that he cannot continue in office after a series of documents made public by the Opposition prove that Yeddyurappra on multiple occasions gave away government land at absurdly low rates to companies that were associated with his family members, especially his two sons.

Andhra Chief Minister K Rosaiah was also at the ashram. He has to tackle a defiant Jagan Mohan Reddy whose TV channel ran a biting program over the weekend attacking Sonia Gandhi and the Prime Minister. The Congress in Delhi has described the matter as "very serious." At the Puttaparthi airport, Jagan supporters were stopped by security guards. They retaliated by shouting slogans against Roasiah. The chief minister lost his cool and asked them if they would like him to resign.

Jagan Mohan has been leading a Congress revolt against Rosaiah who took over as chief minister after Jagan's father, YSR, died in a helicopter crash in September last year.
