New Delhi:
While Konkan may be battling heavy rains, The rest of the country appears to be quite dry.
In the north, as of Monday, 6% less rain has been received.
In the central parts of India a deficit of 9% can be seen .
South India is the only exception where a surplus of 10% has been recorded.
However, the worst case scenario being in east and northeast India where the deficit is as bad as 22% .
