Big B at Maharaja's gala dinner in London

London: When former Maharaja of Jodhpur Gaj Singh hosted a gala dinner in London to raise funds for the charity he runs, Amitabh Bachchan turned up to lend his support.

Many Hollywood actors came together for the charity dinner to help people to recover from head injuries in England, a country that witnesses the maximum number of head injury cases in the world.

This charity dinner raised money through auctions to help people with head injuries. Maharaja Gaj Singh's own son suffered a head injury playing polo in 2005.

The former Maharaja of Jodhpur Gaj Singh hosted a gala dinner in London to raise funds for India Head Injury Foundation, the charity he runs.

On the guest list were the likes of Hollywood actors and Bollywood's Amitabh Bachchan, coming together to work for the foundation that will look to help people to recover from head injuries in England, a country that witnesses the maximum number of head injury cases in the world.

The glitterati turned up for the good cause. This charity dinner raised money through auctions. Gaj Singh's own son suffered a head injury playing polo in 2005.

Amitabh Bachchan also turned up to lend his support. "I am here to support the cause," he said.

Hollywood actress Sigourney Weaver put up the dress she was wearing for auctioning.

" This dress has been designed by Nayeem Khan for this occasion. Hope someone buys it as it is for a good cause," she said.
