New Delhi:
A married woman, in her 20s, was found strangled today in a hotel room, police said.
Saziya, resident of east Delhi's Maujpur, was found dead in Hotel Karan Palace in central Delhi's Paharganj area around 1:30 pm.
"Saziya's body was recovered by a staff of the hotel. She had checked in with her husband Rashid on Monday afternoon," said a police officer.
The room was locked from outside and Rashid was absconding.
"A hunt is on for the victim's husband, who is still missing. The victim's body has been sent for post-mortem," said the officer.
