Boy allegedly sexually assaulted by classmates in Delhi school
Delhi: An 11-year-old class VII student in Delhi was sexually assaulted and robbed of his pocket money allegedly by his two classmates on Tuesday.

The incident took place at a government school in Ambedkar Nagar area in southeast Delhi.

The boy was taken to the second floor of the school building by his two classmates after the school got over and allegedly beaten up and robbed of Rs 20. They later sexually assaulted him and threatened him of dire consequences if he were to reveal anything.

The boy, however, went to the school principal to complain about the assault.

"They made him write a letter against the two accused and expelled them immediately," said Santosh, the boy's grandmother.

"He did not even have the money to come back home. The money, I had given him for transport, was taken away by the two boys who assaulted him. He had to walk about 5 km to reach home. He narrated the incident to me after which we informed the police," added Santosh.

The police took the boy to AIIMS for a medical examination that confirmed sexual assault after which an FIR was registered.

The boy is a native of Jalandhar, Punjab and his father is a motor mechanic in Faridabad.

The family is also demanding action against the school authorities, who did not care to inform them about the incident.

The police refused to divulge details of the case and said they are investigating the matter.
