Do you know this India?

#ChangeThePerception, says Arjun Menon, a Mumbai-based photographer who travelled across India for over four months. According to his YouTube channel, Arjun took 'two million' pictures and created this brilliant time-lapse video that aims to showcase an India that is more than a land of "bullock-carts and snake-charmers."

The video has snapshots from austere Spiti in the north and the glittering white sands of the Andamans in the south; from the remote gorgeousness that is Tawang in Arunachal Pradesh and the wildly popular tourist destination of Agra. There is beauty in every bit of this vast and diverse land, it's just the focus that needs a bit of tweaking.

The star spangled skies, the stark landscape of the north, the rich heritage of the south that we see through the lens of this gifted photographer, looks beyond the poverty, the hardships and the rustic life that the world at large might perhaps associate with India.  There is much more to showcase and much more to highlight in this complex country that's a unique mesh of the old and the new.

Art Leaves a Mark, says Arjun Menon. Watch the video and tell us if you agree:
