New Delhi:
British Airways is offering up to 70 per cent discount on limited sale of couple tickets to London and other cities in the UK for travel till June end as part of its Valentine's Day campaign.
The tickets should be booked before February 28 and is valid for outbound travel till June 30, an airline spokesperson said.
The tickets are on offer for travel from key Indian cities like Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru, Chennai and Hyderabad to London or destinations like Aberdeen, Belfast, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Leeds Bradford, Manchester, Newcastle and Jersey.
The special fares, under a digital marketing campaign 'Go Further to Get Closer', are an endeavour of British Airways "to help couples discover each other whilst they travel together enjoying British Airways' unmatched onboard services," said Christopher Fordyce, BA's Regional Commercial Manager (South Asia).
The premier British carrier has committed to invest more than five billion pounds in its products and services until 2017 to upgrade customer experience.
Some other foreign airlines like AirAsia and Singapore Airlines have also announced promotional offers in the recent past.
