New Delhi: The Aam Aadmi Party has once again fielded Rajesh Rishi from Janakpuri constituency, from where he had last time unsuccessfully contested against BJP leader Jagdish Mukhi in the Delhi Assembly elections.

AAP has, however, projected it to be a fight between party chief Arvind Kejriwal and Mr Mukhi for the post of Chief Minister of Delhi.

"Where is the online campaign they (AAP) have been running for the last few days that main fight is between Kejriwal and Mukhi in Delhi Assembly elections? If AAP really wanted to field Kejriwal before Mukhi, why didn't it give ticket to him from the Janakpuri seat which BJP veteran has been representing for a long time," a senior BJP leader said.

Sources in the AAP, however, said that former Delhi chief minister would contest elections from New Delhi constituency.

"Arvind will contest election from New Delhi. And the BJP may not declare their CM candidate. So the question of Arvind contesting from anywhere does not arise," a senior AAP leader said.

In the last Assembly elections, Mr Kejriwal contested against former chief minister Sheila Dixit and defeated her by over 22,000 votes. In Lok Sabha elections, he contested against Prime Minister Narendra Modi from Varanasi but lost.
