US Posts $18 Million Bounty for Four African Militants

Washington: The United States today posted USD 18 million in rewards for the capture of four African militants involved in the kidnapping of foreigners and attacks on Western targets.

Some USD 5 million each was offered for a former member of Nigeria's Boko Haram and two founding leaders of the Movement for Unity and Jihad in West Africa (MUJAO) based in the Maghreb region.

A fourth reward of USD 3 million was set for an Egyptian extremist who has plotted against the US, the State Department said.
