New leads have come from the satellite images in the search for missing Malaysian Airlines flight MH370. Malaysian authorities today addressed the media on latest developments.
Here are the highlights: - Two orange objects sighted by search aircrafts in Australian zone, not yet related to MH370
- The objects found will reach us soon and we will investigate if they belong to MH370
- Chinese also saw objects but they were different from Australian sightings
- The images were received by Malaysia on the evening of 22 March
- This morning we received more satellite images from the French authorities
- There has been no sighting of MH370 debris in N corridor of Turkmenistan
- High level team has met with the families of the missing passengers in China
- The search for MH370 has taken us halfway across the world. At the moment there are new leads but nothing conclusive
- We met families for 12 hours and answered over 100 questions. They families responded positively to us
- During the police investigation, we interviewed over 100 people including the families of the pilots of MH370
- There is no evidence that wooden pallets found in Australian search area are related to the missing Malaysia Airlines plane
