Barack And Michelle Obama Vacation On Steven Spielberg's Yacht In Italy, End Divorce Rumours

Former US President Barack Obama and his wife Michelle Obama were recently spotted vacationing on Steven Spielberg's luxurious $250 million superyacht, the "Seven Seas", in Portofino, Italy. The couple's appearance on the yacht has put to rest speculation about their marriage, with sources close to them describing the trip as a much-needed break.

According to The New York Post, Michelle Obama arrived first on the yacht, stepping aboard in a chic Canadian tuxedo and was greeted warmly by Mr Spielberg, the Oscar-winning director behind blockbusters like 'Jaws' and 'Schindler's List'. The former President joined the next day, with a security entourage, including Italian intelligence personnel and bomb-sniffing dogs.

Despite arriving separately, the couple was seen enjoying quality time together, sharing breakfast and lunch on the yacht's deck. Paparazzi photos revealed them on the upper deck, sharing laughs and a leisurely lunch with Mr Spielberg and his wife, actress Kate Capshaw.

The Obamas' vacation comes amid rumours of marital issues, which they addressed in a joint appearance on Michelle's podcast, "The Michelle Obama Podcast," in July. During the episode, Michelle dismissed speculation about their relationship, saying, "There hasn't been one moment in our marriage where I thought about quitting my man." Barack jokingly added, "She took me back!"

The Seven Seas, a 357-foot luxury vessel, is one of the largest yachts in the world, featuring an oversized beach club, a large pool, a private cinema, and a helipad. The yacht's interior was designed by Isaksen Design, while its exteriors were styled by Sinot Yacht Architecture.

Notably, the Obamas' trip to Italy coincided with a high-profile memorial for Charlie Kirk, the co-founder of Turning Point USA, held in Glendale, Arizona. Barack had offered prayers for Kirk's family, describing his murder as "horrific and a tragedy."

Sources claim that the Obamas' vacation was exactly what they needed, allowing them to relax and reconnect. The insider revealed that the Obamas are in a "great place" and plan to stick together amidst the chaos in politics.
