Himachal Pradesh will vote for a new government on November 12 and results will be declared nearly a month later on December 8. The term of the Himachal Pradesh assembly ends on January 8. Himachal Pradesh has 68 assembly seats, with 35 being the majority mark. In the 2017 election, the BJP won 44 seats and Congress 21. The BJP is confident of winning again.
