Himachal Congress Tension? Pratibha Singh Questions Government Appointments
A fresh political disagreement appears to be emerging within the Congress in Himachal Pradesh over government appointments. Senior Congress leader Pratibha Singh has said there is no personal rift with Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, but stressed that consultations should take place with both the government and the party organisation before key decisions. She also expressed concern over appointments involving people who, she said, had done little for the party.
