IMD Warns Of Intense Monsoon Spell; Heavy Rain Alert Across Multiple States
The India Meteorological Department has forecast an active monsoon phase over the next few days, with heavy to very heavy rainfall likely in Uttarakhand, Rajasthan, Gujarat and parts of Maharashtra. In Uttarakhand, rain activity is expected to intensify from August 2, prompting a Yellow Alert, while isolated heavy showers have been forecast in several hill districts.
