No District In India Remains Naxal-Affected: PM Modi
Prime Minister Narendra Modi said India has effectively broken the back of Naxalism, noting that while 126 districts were affected by Left-Wing Extremism in 2015, none remained impacted by March 2026. Speaking on National Unity Day, Modi said former conflict-hit regions are now witnessing rapid development, with improved roads, mobile connectivity, education and healthcare facilities creating new opportunities for local youth.
