Ahead of the Opposition's high-profile rally, Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched a sharp attack on rival parties, accusing them of transforming from a constructive opposition into an "Avrodh Paksh" or force of obstruction. Modi questioned the conduct of some Opposition leaders abroad, warned against what he called anti-India narratives, and raised concerns over the use of social media to spread misinformation. He also cautioned against "Dimaagi Naxal" or "intellectual Naxalism", saying such mindsets weaken national unity and hinder the country's development.
