Congress Tried To Erase Sardar Patel's Legacy, Says Amit Shah On Unity Day
Marking Unity Day, Union Home Minister Amit Shah launched a sharp attack on the Congress, alleging that the party failed to give Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel the recognition he deserved and attempted to diminish his legacy. Shah said the BJP honoured Patel's contribution to nation-building by constructing the Statue of Unity, the world's tallest statue.
