PM Modi Visits Bharat Bovine Breeding And Research Centre (BBBRC) Cattle Farm In Banaskantha

Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited the Bharat Bovine Breeding and Research Centre (BBBRC) cattle farm and the Embryo Transfer Technology-In Vitro Fertilisation (ET-IVF) Laboratory in Banaskantha, Gujarat. The facility focuses on Kankrej cattle breeding, genetic upgradation and advanced reproductive technologies, and is expected to accelerate breed improvement by 10–20 times. Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel and Deputy Chief Minister Harsh Sanghavi were also present. During his two-day Gujarat visit, the Prime Minister is also scheduled to launch and lay the foundation stones for several projects, including two Bio-CNG plants, Ahmedabad Metro extensions, road upgrades and new Anganwadi centres.
