Tamil Nadu Political Shake-Up: Congress Slams DMK As TVK Builds New Alliance
Tamil Nadu politics is witnessing a major realignment ahead of the October 6 bypolls in Madurantakam and Dharapuram. Congress Tamil Nadu chief Manickam Tagore has criticised the DMK over its treatment of alliance partners, saying the party's approach pushed several former allies away. Congress, VCK, IUML and MDMK have since moved into the TVK-led alliance, with TVK formally joining the INDIA bloc in Tamil Nadu.
