Vijay's TVK Joins INDIA Bloc's Anti-SIR Protest In Chennai For The First Time
Tamil Nadu's ruling TVK joined an INDIA bloc-led protest against the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls and the Chief Election Commissioner in Chennai, marking the party's first participation in such an event. Representing TVK, Education Minister A Rajmohan called the voter revision exercise anti-democratic and reiterated the party's opposition to the process. VCK chief Thol Thirumavalavan also attended the protest and claimed that voter deletions cost MK Stalin his Kolathur seat.
