HPU Students Protest Fee Hike, Demand Rollback Of Increased Charges And Professor Removals

University students have protested against a fee hike, with student organisations alleging that fees have increased by more than 25 per cent in several categories, particularly non-subsidised courses, examination charges and PhD-related fees. SFI HPU Campus President Ashish Chauhan said the students are demanding a rollback of the hike and will continue the protest until it is withdrawn. He also opposed higher fees for non-subsidised courses, examination and PhD-related charges, while demanding the removal of the newly appointed professors.
