Tamil Nadu CM Vijay Moves The ‘Tamil Thai Vazhthu’ Resolution In The State Assembly
Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay has moved a special resolution in the State Legislative Assembly seeking to make Tamil Thai Vazhthu mandatory as the first song at all government functions. The proposed protocol would cover government offices, educational institutions, PSUs and other state-run establishments. The move comes amid political controversy over Vande Mataram being rendered at official events attended by the Governor.
