Tamil Nadu Leader of Opposition Udhayanidhi Stalin launched a sharp attack on Chief Minister C Joseph Vijay, calling him a "dummy" and "uncouth" CM while accusing the government of governance failures, power cuts and deteriorating law and order. Udhayanidhi said the upcoming by-election would teach the TVK a lesson and mark the beginning of its downfall.
