Rahul Gandhi Flags 727 Voter Exclusions In Delhi. What Poll Body Said
The electoral roll row in Delhi has intensified after Rahul Gandhi visited Bela Estate and alleged that 728 of 729 voters were deleted following the Special Intensive Revision (SIR). The Delhi Chief Electoral Officer said the homes were demolished in 2022–23 and the electors are no longer ordinarily resident there, adding that they can reapply through Form 6. Meanwhile, the Congress Working Committee is expected to discuss its strategy, including a possible resolution seeking the removal of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar.
