LPU Violence: "Students Were Peaceful, Then Masked Outsiders Arrived"

In an exclusive NDTV conversation, LPU Executive Dean Sorabh Lakhanpal says the sexual assault allegation that preceded the violence appears to have been a rumour, with no student coming forward with a name, location or written complaint. He says students were initially protesting peacefully before masked outsiders allegedly entered the campus with rods and began vandalising property. Lakhanpal also discusses CCTV footage, the highway blockade, police response and whether there was any political angle to the violence.
