'Stone-Pelting Near Mosque Was Pre-Decided': Claims Eyewitness
An eyewitness speaking to NDTV has claimed that the clashes near a mosque at Ramlila Ground were a deliberate and preplanned attempt to target police personnel during the demolition drive. According to the eyewitness, around 150 to 200 people were involved in the stone-pelting and were waiting for the police to arrive before launching the attack. Delhi Police have detained 10 people so far and are scanning CCTV footage and body-camera visuals to identify those involved. Authorities are probing the conspiracy angle behind the violence.
