'BJP Will Win Strong Mandate In BMC Polls This Time', Says Maharashtra Minister Ashish Shelar

In an interview at NDTV's Power Play Conclave, Maharashtra minister and senior BJP leader Ashish Shelar said the party had earlier held back its growth in BMC polls due to its alliance with the then‑united Shiv Sena. He said the 2017 election-where the BJP jumped from 32 to 82 seats-showed a clear shift in public support. Contesting as part of the Mahayuti this time, Shelar asserted that the alliance is poised for a major victory and is confident of securing the Mayor's post.
