Delhi Protests Cost Trade ₹3,000 Crore, CTI Warns Of Bigger Diwali Hit

Protests and demonstrations across Delhi this month have caused trade losses of nearly ₹3,000 crore, according to the Chamber of Trade and Industry (CTI). CTI Chairman Brijesh Goyal has warned that if disruptions continue until Diwali, the total impact on businesses could cross ₹10,000 crore. The body attributes the losses to protest-related road blockades, restrictions in Central Delhi, metro disruptions and the closure of key commercial areas.
