Born as Javed Hussain, he changed his name to Javed Ali to honour his guru- Gulam Ali. Known as one of the most versatile singers of our times, Javad Ali started singing at a very tender age under the guidance of his father - a popular qawwali singer, Ustad Hamid Hussain. He became a household name in 2007 when his song "Ek Din Teri Rahon Mein" was released.
