Himanta Sarma, Wife Have Assets Worth Rs 35 Crore, Shows Affidavit
Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma and his entrepreneur wife, Riniki Bhuyan Sarma, have assets worth Rs 35.16 crore. The 57-year-old chief minister, in his affidavit filed for his nomination as a BJP candidate for the Jalukbari constituency on Friday, submitted that he possesses only movable assets, pegged at Rs 2.36 crore in 2026, compared to Rs 1.72 crore in 2021.
