West Bengal Polls | "No One Can Predict Bengal": Boria Majumdar on High-Stakes Poll Battle

Speaking to NDTV, Boria Majumdar described the West Bengal elections as deeply unpredictable and possibly the most significant in decades. He emphasized that no single narrative dominates the state with voters divided across issues like minority voting patterns, anti-incumbency, welfare schemes, and identity politics. He highlighted a strong voter awareness, with people across age groups determined to vote, calling this election more personal and consequential than previous ones. According to him, the discourse is fractured: some support Mamata Banerjee for welfare and women empowerment, while others see this as a decisive opportunity to bring in the BJP.
