External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar on Wednesday said India is closely monitoring the situation in Venezuela and expressed concern over recent developments. Urging restraint, he called on all stakeholders to prioritise the safety and well-being of the Venezuelan people as the crisis unfolds, outlining New Delhi’s position on the issue. “India is concerned about recent developments and urges all parties to prioritise the well-being and safety of people," Jaishankar said, outlining New Delhi’s position on the situation.
