According to the Russian Transport Ministry, there were 42 passengers and six crew members on board, but no survivors. Igor Smirnov, head of the Main Directorate of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations in the Amur region, reported that the plane had disappeared from radar shortly before the crash was confirmed.
