US President Donald Trump has announced an immediate energy ceasefire between Russia and Ukraine, in a bid to halt attacks on energy infrastructure. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky initially appeared surprised by the announcement but later said Kyiv was ready to cooperate. Moscow has yet to confirm the proposed truce, leaving its prospects uncertain.
